§ 4. Lieut.-Colonel Liptonasked the Attorney-General when the Report of the Royal Commission on the Marriage Laws will be published.
§ The Solicitor-GeneralThe Royal Commission hopes to complete its work on the draft Report by July, and the Report will be published as soon as possible after it has been received.
§ Lieut.-Colonel LiptonAlthough apparently the drafting of the Report started last October, nearly six months ago,is the Solicitor-General saying that it will take from October last until July of this year to draft it, and that he cannot say how long after that it will be before the Report is published?
§ The Solicitor-GeneralI regret that I cannot say anything more than I have already said. The hon. and gallant Gentleman will remember that the terms of reference were extremely wide and the bulk of the evidence which the Commission has had is very large indeed.
