asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the fact that the question of railway super annuitants has been referred to a committee as a result of Government action, he will refer the case of retired police officers' widows who died before July, 1948,to an independent committee to see what suggestions can be made for meeting their claim.
