asked the Secretary of State for the Colony when he proposes to publish the Report of the East African Royal Commission.

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when it is his intention to publish the Report of the East African Royal Commission.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

The Report is with the printers, but I cannot yet say when it will be ready for publication. I understand that printing cannot be completed before some time in April.

Why the delay? If the Report is already available in print, are we to understand that we cannot get it until April?

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

It is not in print; it is with the printers. I assure the right hon. Gentleman that there has been no avoidable delay whatever, and certainly there is nothing unusual about the time that it has taken.
