Friend bear in mind that the national park authorities have not anything like enough money to carry out their duties under the National Parks Act, and will he also bear in mind that it is not fair to place on local people—I am thinking particularly of Dartmoor and Exmoor—the heavy financial responsibility of a national park?
§ Mr. ButlerI am aware of all these issues but I am not ready yet to make a statement.
§ Mr. DaltonWill the right hon. Gentleman take note of the increasing support for this proposal by people both inside and outside the House?
