asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many foreign tourists came to this country last year, detailing the separate countries concerned.

The total number of foreign visitors—excluding business visitors—who arrived in this country last year for visits of less than six months was more than 550,000. As the full particulars involve a table of figures, I will, with permission, circulate them in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
