asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will now reconsider the housing allocations to the borough and rural district of Newcastle-under-Lyme, with a view to increasing them.

Mr. Sandys

I will be pleased to look again at the programmes of these two authorities, but I cannot in advance undertake to increase them.
