Mr. Watkinsasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation how many applications have been made to the South Wales Licensing Authority for the reduction of omnibus services in rural districts and how many have been allowed and how many services have been cancelled during the last twelve months.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterApplications were made to reduce twenty-one services to a greater or lesser degree. Seventeen 1110 of these were granted; one was refused; three have not yet been decided. One service was withdrawn. I understand that at the same time about thirteen services have been improved in one way or another.
