HC Deb 25 January 1955 vol 536 c11
18. Captain Duncan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is satisfied that the farmers have adequate winter feedingstuffs for their livestock this winter.

Mr. J. Stuart

While local difficulties, particularly of distribution, may arise, supplies of winter feed over the country as a whole appear to be adequate. Much, of course, will depend on weather conditions over the next month or two.
