HC Deb 14 February 1955 vol 537 c26
39. Mr. Parker

asked the Minister of Food whether he will now make arrangements for the provision of milk cheaply under the Government scheme for children between their fifth birthday and the start of their school life.

Dr. Hill

Such gaps as there may have been in past provision for these children are now rapidly shrinking. In the circumstances, my right hon. Friend does not think that the complications involved in seeking to cover the small numbers affected would be justified.
