§ 16. Mr. Spenceasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he expects to publish details of the Government's plans for the future location and arrangement of slaughterhouses in Scotland.
Commander GalbraithThis matter has been examined by the Scottish inter-Departmental Committee on Slaughterhouses whose Report my right hon. Friend has just received and hopes to publish shortly. The Committee's recommendations will require to be discussed with the local authorities and other interests concerned before decisions are reached.
