§ The Minister of Works (Mr. Nigel Birch)It would not be possible within the compass of a Parliamentary reply to deal adequately with the hon. and learned Member's Question. I would refer him to the Report of the Atomic Energy Authority. Further information was given at the Geneva Conference on the Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy. Sixteen Volumes of the proceedings will be published.
§ Mr. HughesIt is beyond the wit of the Minister to issue a White Paper which will indicate in a brief way what progress is being made in this phase of science which is fraught with great possibilities for human happiness?
§ Mr. BirchI would advise the hon. and learned Member to read the Authority's Report, which does exactly that.
