HC Deb 19 December 1955 vol 547 c1649
41. Mr. Simmons

asked the Minister of Health what progress is being made with the suction socket limb; how many amputees have tried it out; and how many are now in regular use by war-pensioners and civilian amputees.

Mr. Iain Macleod

The experimental stage ended nearly two years ago, and this type of limb is now available in all limb fitting centres. No separate records of its use are kept, so that the information asked for in the latter parts of the Question is not available.
