Stewartasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will draw the attention of the public to the danger of phosphorus poisoning from broken discarded fluorescent lighting tubes; and in particular whether he will draw the attention of persons transporting these tubes to the unwisdom of leaving vehicles containing them unattended.
§ Major Lloyd-GeorgeI understand that these tubes do not contain elemental phosphorus, and there is no reason to suggest any special precautions when transporting them.
