asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will place in the Library of the House of Commons a copy of the report by Sir Vincent Glenday on the general administration of screening camps and interrogation centres.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

Sir Vincent Glenday's report has been received by the Kenya Government and is now being studied. The question of publication is being considered.

Mr. Rankin

In view of the fact that the right hon. Gentleman approved of the appointment of Sir Vincent. will he use his influence to see that the report is made available in the Library of the House?

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

I am always anxious to keep hon. Members informed about the progress of events, but the Governor informed me a few days ago that the main report had been received; clearly, before it is studied and I have consultations with him, I cannot give a firm answer about publication.
