asked the Minister of Health, in view of the successful experiments in the United States of America with a vaccine for combating poliomyelitis, if he will make a statement giving details of his proposals to introduce it into this country on a long and short-term basis.

30. Lady Tweedsmuir

asked the Minister of Health whether he will make a statement on the use of the Salk anti-poliomyelitis vaccine in the United Kingdom.

31. Mr. J. R. H. Hutchison

asked the Minister of Health what liaison exists between his Department and research organisations in the United States of America; and what steps have been taken to make the Salk anti-poliomyelitis treatment available in this country.

34. Mr. Edelman

asked the Minister of Health what arrangements he is making for the purchase of the Salk vaccine against poliomyelitis.

36. Mr. G. Darling

asked the Minister of Health to what extent the Salk anti-poliomyelitis vaccine will be produced and used in this country; and under what conditions.
