§ Mr. J. StuartThe special assistance to agricultural producers in the Scottish Islands will depend on their returns during the current financial year and the extent of their disadvantage compared with distant producers on the mainland.
§ Mr. GrimondWhen the Secretary of State considers the matter further, will he bear in mind that producers in outer islands within groups of islands find it particularly difficult to market to the best advantage?
§ Mr. StuartI will certainly bear that in mind. This scheme is intended, of course, to assist these islands.
