19. Mr. Watkinsasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether he will indicate the starting date for the commencement of the authorised schemes for improvement at the corner of Ship Street and of the erection of the footbridge alongside Llanfaes Bridge, Brecon.
§ Mr. MolsonThe improvement at the corner of Ship Street will be begun as soon as the acquisition of property has been completed, which, I hope, will only be a matter of weeks. Subject to delivery of the materials, which have been ordered, the work of erecting a footbridge alongside Llanfaes Bridge will be started in July.
Mr. WatkinsMay I ask the Minister to expedite this in order that the flow of traffic to the National Eisteddfod at Ystradgynlais will not be held up during the first week of August?
