HC Deb 11 March 1954 vol 524 c2415
23 Mr. G. Jeger

asked the Minister of Health whether he will advise the regional hospital boards to see that all out-patients' departments in children's hospitals are adequately supplied with furniture and decorations designed to interest children.

Mr. Iain Macleod

It is quite common practice for hospitals to do this already, so far as their resources allow, and I feel that it is essentially a thing to be left to the hospital authorities' good sense to look after it.
