Captain Pilkingtonasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether, in view of the fact that the use of bad coal in laundries situated in built-up areas causes dirt and grit to contaminate gardens, windows and the interiors of nearby houses, he will take steps to remedy the position.
§ Mr. MarplesAlthough my right hon. Friend is in no way answerable for the quality of coal supplied to laundries, if my hon. and gallant Friend will let him have particulars of any cases where nuisances are caused he will have them looked into.
