§ Resolution of the House [24th May] relating to the appointment of a Joint Committee, and so much of the Lords Message [27th May] as signifies their concurrence in the said Resolution read.
§ Select Committee of seven Members appointed to join with a Committee to be appointed by the Lords to consider what alterations, if any, are desirable in the practice and the Standing Orders of the two Houses relating to private legislation, having special regard to the desirability of lessening the expense at present incurred.
§ Power to send for persons, papers and records, and to report from time to time.
§ Three to be the Quorum.
