HC Deb 26 July 1954 vol 531 c44
Professor Sir Douglas Savory

I beg leave to ask to be allowed to make a personal statement. I find that in my speech in the House of Commons on 14th July I stated, when referring to the Boundary Commission for Northern Ireland, that no communication had been received asking for any change to be made. I am informed that I was mistaken, and that at least one letter was received on 26th May, making suggestions for an alteration in the boundaries. I therefore desire to express my regret for unwittingly misleading the House of Commons.
