§ Mr. Joynson-HicksI beg to move, in page 45, line 38, at the end, to insert:
and, in particular, the provision at mines of adequate supplies of water for use in case of fire.We are now dealing with fire-fighting and rescue operations. It was pointed out in Committee that, amongst all the appliances which had to be provided, there was no reference to water itself. It was felt desirable that there should be some such reference, and we have accordingly introduced the Amendment to make provision for adequate supplies of water.
