§ 48. Mr. A. Hendersonasked the Under-secretary of State for Air whether he can now make a statement on the discussions which have been taking place with the United States Government with regard to the provision of weather ships in the Atlantic.
Mr. WardAs the right hon. and learned Member is aware, the United States Government has now expressed its willingness in principle to take part in a new North Atlantic Ocean Weather Ship Scheme. I should prefer not to say anything further at this stage, and I must ask the House to await the outcome of the Conference being held in Paris next month.
