§ 37. Mr. T. W. Jonesasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will request the Advisory Council of Wales to study the present and future position in the slate quarrying industry of North Wales and make a report.
§ Sir D. Maxwell FyfeThe Council have already given some consideration to the difficulties of the slate quarrying industry, and my colleagues and I will be glad to consider any advice submitted as the result of any further survey which the Council may decide to undertake.
