HC Deb 05 February 1954 vol 523 c794

3.59 p.m.

Order for Second Reading read.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read a Second time."—[Mr. Ian Harvey.]

Mr. James Hudson (Ealing, North)

I understand that the Question is that the Bill be read a Second time, and that if opposition is to be offered to the Second Reading it must be offered in a speech at this time. It being Four o'Clock, the debate stood adjourned.

Debate to be resumed upon Friday next.
