§ Mr. MolsonThe existing regulations allow the crossing authorities to prohibit waiting within 45 feet on the approach side of a zebra crossing. Most local authorities have not availed themselves of this power and it is proposed in the new Regulations to make this compulsory in the case of all zebra crossings.
