Will he make an inquiry in the Colony to see to what extent this is going on and put a stop to it if he can?
§ Mr. HopkinsonI have heard reports from time to time of anti-British activities on the part of American missionaries in the territory. When I was there last autumn I saw a number of American missionary priests with their schoolchildren. They all turned out and showed every sign of friendship and loyalty to the British Crown, but I should be glad to inquire into the particular point of the history books to which the hon. Member refers.
