§ Mr. LytteltonThe Sugar Price Stabilisation Fund totalled 5,569,067 dollars at 31st December. There is no Rice Price Stabilisation Fund. As my right hon. Friend stated on 7th December, 2,500,000 dollars have been diverted from the Stabilisation Fund to the Labour Welfare Fund, which exists specifically for the purposes mentioned in the Question. This sum will speed up the rehousing of sugar estate workers.
