§ 3. Brigadier Medlicottasked the First Lord of the Admiralty what decision has been made in connection with the future of the Polar exploration ship "Discovery," which has been offered to the Royal Navy by the Boy Scouts Association.
§ Mr. J. P. L. ThomasThe Admiralty will be very glad to accept "Discovery" into the Naval Service as an additional drill ship for the London Division of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve if she can be converted and used economically. Naturally she will have to be surveyed first, and the necessary docking is being arranged with the consent of the Boy Scouts Association. I will inform my hon. and gallant Friend as soon as a final decision has been taken.
