HC Deb 22 October 1953 vol 518 c2150
Sir W. Darling

May I draw the attention of the House to today's report of Division No. 225 last night, in which it is stated that the hon. Member for Hillsborough (Mr. G. Darling) voted in both the No and Aye Lobbies? The hon. Member for Edinburgh, South, myself, does not appear to have voted at all, although, in fact, I did vote.

Mr. Speaker

There is evidently some mistake. I shall inquire into it and endeavour to get a correction made. Perhaps the hon. Member will say in which Lobby he did vote.

Sir W. Darling

Would it not be more proper, Mr. Speaker, to ask the hon. Member for Hillsborough whether he voted in both Lobbies? As a matter of fact, I voted in the No Lobby.

Mr. Speaker

I think that the two hon. Members should go into consultation and find out into which Lobbies they actually did go.

* Corrected in final list.
