asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many of the 677 houses built by private builders in Scotland in 1952 for letting were let in pursuance of a contract of service.

It is known that 142 of these houses were occupied by agricultural workers under contracts of service. No information is available about the letting of the remainder.
