asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what progress has been made in negotiations with India and with Pakistan on the subject of double taxation relief; and whether he will make a statement.

Negotiations with India are still going on, but we have not yet reached agreement. Negotiations with Pakistan have not yet started.
