HC Deb 02 March 1953 vol 512 c1
2. Mr. Nabarro

asked the Attorney-General whether he has considered an illustrated publication entitled, "The place of Electricity in the Nation's Fuel and Power policy," a copy of which has been sent to him and which purports to represent the views of the British Electricity Authority, but carries no imprint of the name of the body or persons issuing the document, and no imprint of the name of the publishers or printers and thus constitutes an offence; what steps he has taken to establish if this document was published with or without the authority of the British Electricity Authority, or by it; and, in view of the requirements of the statutes bearing on this matter, what steps he is taking to establish the identity of the issuers, printers and publishers of the document and to secure compliance with the law.

The Attorney-General (Sir Lionel Heald)

I am having inquiries made.
