asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he is aware of the inconvenience caused in Victoria Park, Cardiff, by the continued emission of grit from the Ely Paper Works, Cardiff; and what action he is taking in the matter.

My right hon. Friend has had no complaints since 1949. If the hon. Member will supply him with particulars, he will have inquiries made.

Is the Minister aware that this difficulty was largely removed in 1949 as a result of Questions and answers in this House, but that once again the people are being grievously worried? I will supply the hon. Gentleman with the information.
