asked the Minister of Transport whether he has now received a report from the committee appointed by him to consider what steps can be taken to prevent pollution of the coast by oil; and whether he will make a statement.

asked the Minister of Transport when he expects to receive the report of his committee on the prevention of pollution of the sea by oil.

My right hon. Friend expects to receive the committee's report by the end of this week. He is arranging that it shall be printed and hopes that copies will be available before the House rises for the Summer Recess.
