§ 43. Sir L. Ropner
asked the Minister of Agriculture what steps are taken to ensure that all keepers of poultry are informed of the locations of outbreaks of fowl pest.
§ Sir T. Dugdale
Particulars of every outbreak are sent to the principal poultry journals, to the headquarters of the National Farmers' Union, to the Accredited Poultry Breeders' Federation, the Animal Health Trust and to the British Veterinary Association. In addition, each outbreak is notified by telegram to the county branch of the National Farmers' Union, the area egg officer of the Ministry of Food and all the egg packing stations concerned.
