HC Deb 24 June 1953 vol 516 cc1904-5
46. Mr. Peart

asked the Prime Minister if he will make a statement on the future of the Ministry of Materials.

Mr. Crookshank

My right hon. Friend has nothing to add to the reply given on 19th March last.

Mr. Peart

In view of the pressure from his own back benches, revealed on the Order Paper, to disband this Ministry, will the Minister ensure, before the Cabinet appeases the rank and file of the Tory Party, that there is an adequate supply of materials for school building, in view of the Eighth Report of the Select Committee on Estimates? May I have an answer?
