§ Order read for consideration, as amended (in the Standing Committee).
§ 11.20 a.m.
§ Mr. Henry Brooke (Hampstead)I beg to move,
That the Bill be re-committed to a Committee of the whole House in respect of the new Clause standing on the Notice Paper in the name of Mr. Henry Brooke.I have no desire to hold up the Bill introduced by the hon. and learned Member for Kettering (Mr. Mitchison), but this new Clause which I seek to move vitally concerns my constituency, and as I was not a member of the Standing Committee this is my first opportunity of raising the matter. For that reason, I hope that the House will agree to the Motion.
§ Sir Patrick Spens (Kensington, South)I beg to second the Motion.
§ Question put, and agreed to.
§ Bill immediately considered in Committee.
