HC Deb 09 June 1953 vol 516 c29
47. Mr. A. Henderson

asked the Prime Minister whether he will make a further statement on the proposed Big Powers Conference.

The Prime Minister (Sir Winston Churchill)

As the right hon. and learned Gentleman knows, I hope to meet the Heads of the United States and French Governments in the near future, when we shall discuss this and other questions. Meanwhile I have nothing to add to my reply to the right hon. Gentleman the Leader of the Opposition on 21st May, when I said: It is my main hope that we may take a definite step forward to a meeting of far graver import.
