HC Deb 16 July 1953 vol 517 c2232
19. Mr. Bullard

asked the Minister of Labour whether he will reconsider his decision not to defer the call-up of Mr. Peter King, employed by Mr. E. W. Porter, of Grange Farm, Feltwell, Norfolk, in view of the fact that the calling up of this man will affect the livestock production on the farm where 200 cattle, over 900 sheep and 300 pigs, including a pedigree breeding herd, are kept.

Sir W. Monckton

I understand that Mr. King has joined the Army voluntarily on a Regular engagement.
