Mr. Beresford Craddockasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies to what extent prefabricated houses made in this country are being exported to the Colonies; and whether he will draw the attention of Colonial Governments to the excellence of the British product and the contribution it could make to the housing problem in the Colonies.
§ Mr. LytteltonPrefabricated buildings to the value of £618,000 were exported in 1952 to 24 Territories. I can assure my hon. Friend that Colonial Governments are aware of the potentialities of this type of building.
