asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is now in a position to make a statement concerning those standards agreed by the British Standards Institution for standard description of fibre content of wool cloths.

I understand that a large measure of agreement has now been reached and that the British Standards Institution expects soon to make an announcement.

Does the hon. and learned Gentleman hope it may be possible to make an announcement on this matter before the House rises for the Summer Recess?
