I beg to ask leave to present a Petition on behalf of some halfmillion persons living in various parts of the British Isles, which respectfully calls upon this House to reject the Sunday Observance Bill.

The Petition has been signed by 402,481 persons in England, 32,934 in Wales, 44,471 in Scotland, and 32,849 in Northern Ireland, making a grand total of 512,735. The prayer of the Petition is as follows: Wherefore your petitioners pray that you will reject the said Sunday Observance Bill, and your petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray.
