HC Deb 29 January 1953 vol 510 c1190

The following Question stood upon the Order Paper:

55. MR. SLATER

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, in view of the inadequate publicity given to the closing date for application for Coronation pieces, he will extend the date.

Mr. Slater

On a point of order. Is it not possible, Sir, to get a reply from the Chancellor of the Exchequer to Question No. 55, which is about a matter which is causing great concern throughout the country? I put it down with the specific object of getting information for the people in my constituency.

Mr. Speaker

The Question has not been reached, and the hon. Member must therefore be content with a Written answer.
