§ 22. Mr. Sorensenasked the Minister of Education what arrangements have been made this year with the National Camps Corporation, Ltd., in respect of children's camps; what financial economies have been imposed: and, in particular, whether Kennylands in Essex will be available.
§ Miss HorsbrughArrangements for the use of the National Camps Corporation's camps are made between the Corporation and individual local education authorities. I have not asked for economies in the use of these camps. Proposals by the Essex local education authority for the continued use of the Kennylands Camp are under consideration.
§ Mr. SorensenDoes this mean that there are fewer facilities and that a fewer number of children are likely to go to camps this year than last year?
§ Miss HorsbrughI have not asked for any economy here. It is entirely for the local authorities to decide.
