HC Deb 19 February 1953 vol 511 c1445
44. Mr. G. Williams

asked the Minister of Agriculture if the rations for poultry received under the scheme for disabled ex-Service men are continued in the case of the man's widow carrying on the holding.

The Minister of Agriculture (Sir Thomas Dugdale)

Rations for poultry or pigs for severely disabled persons are in the nature of a personal issue to assist in their resettlement. But the widow of a disabled person is usually allowed to draw the same rations as long as her circumstances are unchanged.
