asked the President of the Board of Trade the value of whisky exported to the United States of America in 1952.

The value of our exports of whisky to the United States in 1952 was £18,481,000

Can my right hon. Friend say, without notice, what number of gallons that represents?

Yes. 6,301,000 proof gallons.

Has the right hon. Gentleman any information as to the amount of whisky exported to other dollar paying countries?
