asked the Minister of Transport for how long police instructions in connection with Queen's Circus, Battersea, which are validated by Statutory Instrument, No. 113, have been in operation.

No police instructions have been in operation here. The Statutory Instrument to which my hon. Friend refers is designed to remedy an oversight which has only recently come to our notice.

Is the Minister aware that I drive by Queen's Circus every time I go to Croydon, and that there have been visual police instructions there for about two years? Would he consult the police again?
