Friend the Minister of Food on 5th November, the Secretary of State for Scotland is setting up a small committee to advise him, after consulting the interests concerned, on the siting of slaughterhouses in Scotland.
§ Captain DuncanHow is that committee getting to work; when is it likely to report; and will the report be published?
Commander GalbraithWe hope that it may be set up shortly. As I indicated in my reply, it has not yet been set up.
