§ 25. Sir J. Lucasasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will give an assurance that, in the case of the recent gift to this country of £1 million by Singapore, and in similar cases, a suitable public announcement of appreciation is made, as well as any formal letter that may be sent.
